Traveling to me is almost as enjoyable as the end destination. We focus so much on where we are headed that we forget to enjoy the journey of getting there. When I decided to take a mini vacation to Minneapolis, I knew this would be the beginning of several adventures to come that year. I made sure that the 9 hours roadtrip would be well spent. I was set with good music, an audio book, and lots of snacks (which I unfortunately always eat before the trip starts).
The motivation behind visiting Minneapolis was to take advantage of a few things it had to offer that I did not experience while living there. So I went back.

This book came highly recommended by others, as well as being on a must read list for the year.
Selfie. Because I can't help myself when I'm feeling pretty excited about life.
The lakes are a wonderful contribution of being in Minneapolis that I did not seek out while living there. When I went back I made it an appoint to enjoy the Lakes by hanging out at the beach and taking a canoe trip.
Tao is refreshingly different with a variety of foods to choose from. Enjoyed this restaurant because of healthy fulfilling options. Caters well to those with sensitivities, or vegan and vegetarians
Fresh squeezed juice from Tao. The sunrise is comprised of oranges, pineapple, ginger and lemon juice. And it is So good
Just crossing state boarders gets me so excited. I have to stop at rest stops and take at least one thing that is free.
Travel and enjoy the journey my friends
